November 17 - January 12, 2019: A Musical Christmas

Model trains, trolleys, buildings, and push buttons surrounded by Christmas trees and Christmas Music themed displays.

February 16 - May 18, 2019: Fabrics and Fibers and Textiles, Oh My!

Our unique and entertaining look at some items, decorative and functional, that surround us but get taken for granted in our daily lives.  Even the Wizard of Oz would be amazed.

June 20 - October 12, 2019: Honoring Our Hometown Veterans

Recruitment, Service, and Coming Home through the years, in war and peace, as experienced by the folks around us.


November 23: Mechanicsburg Christmas Tree Lighting

5:30 - 8:00 at the Square
Follow Mrs. Clause to the Museum for free candy canes and our free display

Eat, drink (cider and hot chocolate), and be merry on our popular night out.
Museum buildings are decorated for Christmas
Sing Christmas carols to the organ at Union Church
Have some beef vegetable soup, bread, cheese, and cider at the Frankenberger Tavern
Have hot chocolate and cookies in the 1930s atmosphere at Eckles.
Tours start every half hour from 4:00 - 7:30
Age 10 - adult $15
Age 3 - 9 $5
